How does it work?
The Obagi Blue Peel removes thin surface layers of aged and damaged skin from the face and other parts of the body. The underlying skin layers are stimulated to form a revived and rejuvenated surface with improved skin clarity and texture producing a healthier and more youthful appearance.
What areas can be treated?
The Obagi Blue Peel is suitable for the treatment of fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, acne, oily skin and large pores. It can be used to treat the face or other parts of the body such as the neck, chest, hands, back, arms and legs.
How is the treatment performed?
The layer/s of the peel will be applied to the desired area and you may experience a moderate burning sensation that lasts two to three minutes for each layer applied.
How long will the treatment and recovery take?
The application of the Blue Peel will take about 20 minutes depending on the number of layers the doctor has determined are necessary for you to achieve your goal. Your skin will begin to peel within 2 to 3 days. This peeling will continue over the next several days. Recovery will take approximately seven to ten days.
